The Assistant Chief (Health) / SUN focal person presented the SUN unit achievements so far made and future plans of actions. He stated that the sun unit was established in October 2016 and the various achievements have been made so far.

He further informed that as per decision of the steering committee meeting held on September 12, 2019, the existing Multi-Sectoral Integrated Nutrition Strategy is being revised with the support of UNICEF for inclusion of Merged Areas and align with the global targets and addition of additional potential sectors.

In this regard consultative meeting were held with the relevant department to revise the KP MS-INS along with sectoral action plans and incorporation of M&E frame work. The final revise version of the strategy will be submitted to PSC by June, 2020 for approval as per timeline approved by the ACS, P&D
