3 Days Nutrition Sector Annual Review 2024 and Planning Meeting for 2025 was organized by SUN Unit P&D.The Ist Day was Chaired by Special Secretary P&D Mr Fazal Khaliq and Director Nutrition Dr Fazal Majeed. 2nd Day was Chaired by Chief Nutrition Planning Commission Islamabad Dr Nazer Ahmad along with Director Nutrition.

Participants from Planning Commission Islamabad, Nutrition Cell, Health, IDS, RD & SUN-KP from P&D, Fisheries Departments, IHP, PD Food Security, Commissionarate of Afghan Refugees, KPSPRING, BISP, KMU, UNICEF, WHO, WFP, Nutrition International, Program Managers INP, BNP, SBC, ECD, BFHI and BFCI and CERD attended the Meeting and shared their progress.

The overall progress and different Nutrition Interventions were discussed in details and recommendations for 2026 were given. The participants from different departments appreciated the overall progress and achievement of the Different Nutrition Activities initiated by the Nutrition Cell. Chief Nutrition Planning Commission Dr Nazer appreciated the SUN-KP team and Director Nutrition and informed the forum that KP Nutrition progress is always a step forward from rest of the provinces in term of progress and new Initiatives. The Chair thanks all the participants and also request the Development partners to enhance their support for KP. The recommendations were noted for further sharing with the concerned Departments.. .
