The subject annual review meeting was held on January 13th & 14th 2022 at Abbottabad jointly chaired by Chief (Health) P&D Department and Director Nutrition Department of Health.

The meeting was started with the recitation of Holy Quran. Assistant Chief RD/SUN Focal Person welcomed the participants and explained objective of the meeting. She focused on to review the Nutrition Projects in KP and Merged Districts executed by Health Department, Donor and INGOs in order to ensure effective implementation of the Nutrition programs and reach its benefits to the malnourished children and lactating women. Any issues & problems during implementation of the projects, the same will be highlighted for corrective measures. She stressed upon to understand why Nutrition investment is critical for Human Development and National Development.

Director Nutrition appreciated the participation of all the participants and he thanked the SUN unit to arrange this review meeting. He requested the donor for future support as they have supported in Past and we will try to allocate finances to Nutrition from all possible resources. All the activities will be implementing in integrated form and team work and then the results will be effective.

At the end, the Chief Health P&D Department assured full support for nutrition related activities and he suggested to review the progress quarterly instead of Bi-annually.
